Rātaka ō te wiki - Wiki Tahi

Kia Ora whānau rāua tamariki,

Welcome back to the final term of 2018! It was great to see our ākonga come back today and jump straight back into the learning (after a bit of a share about holiday highlights!)

This term will be full of exciting opportunities - Super 6 Sports, Ag Dag preparation and competitions, School Athletics day, participation in New Zealand’s Healthiest School programme and our Conceptual Curriculum topic ‘The Canvas for Change’. This is a chance to explore how we can use the arts to convey a message.

We will be carrying out the planning stage of our Ag Day School task this week, and creating our masterpieces next week ready for Ag Day on Saturday 27th October. Please see attached below details of both school and home tasks. We appreciate you supporting your tamaiti in completing their home tasks for this day.

School Athletics will take place in Week 4. Please find attached a information and parent help letter. We really appreciate those that can spare some time to support our tamariki on the day.

The Kahurangi Term Newsletter for all the important upcoming events and information on our POD programme is on our blog under the 'Kahurangi Pānui - Newletters' tab.

Homework for the next two weeks will be preparing home tasks for Ag Day - a great opportunity to share in your child’s creative endeavours - we look forward to seeing what they come up with!

Ngā Mihi, Kahurangi Pouako
