Super 10 Football Tournament - Year 6's Only

This year Whakarongo School is hosting the Super 10 Intermediate football tournament. This tournament will be held on Tuesday 28th August at Hokowhitu Park in Palmerston North.

Unfortunately, one of the schools competing in the Super 10 competition has pulled out and we only have 9 teams entered. We have decided that we will enter a Year 6 team to play in this tournament as it will be a great opportunity for our students to see what is available for them next year in regards to sport.

Your child has expressed an interest in playing for the school in this tournament. However, due to the amount of students wanting to play for this team, we will need to hold a trial to select players to represent the school. We will be holding the trial on Monday 20th August and students will be notified later in the week if they have been selected. For the trial students will need to have a change of clothes, shin pads and boots.

We look forward to seeing our Year 6’s out there footing it with other Intermediate schools from around the region.
